Let’s not get carried away.
The more we allow
ourselves to be carried away by the violence around us, the less peaceful we
become. It is indeed sad to see children dying for no faults of their own on
the battlefield, suffering due to the mistakes of radicals and politicians. We
need to ask ourselves if there is anything we can do about it. While we might
want to help, we know deep down that all we can do is shed a few tears.
At this juncture, we
mustn’t get overwhelmed by media reports. Instead, we should focus on balancing
ourselves emotionally and not let such sadness affect our well-being. We have
more to accomplish, so let’s stay focused on that.
