When you expect others to behave like you and
they meet those expectations, you will begin to like them. However, if they do
not meet your expectations, your dislike for them tends to take precedence, and
you will focus more on their differences.
Relationships are not merely about likes and
dislikes; they involve embracing differences and learning to accept
indifference. There is often more to learn from people who are different from
us than from those who are similar to us.
