Think critically and Act Wisely.
It is easy to take sides when we fail to apply critical thinking. Once we choose a side, we tend to justify our position because of the emotions we have attached to that choice. This mindset can prevent us from truly understanding both sides of a story, leading to bias. Such bias can impact our decision-making and foster favouritism toward one side while creating animosity toward the other.
When we behave this
way, we risk failing to grasp the truth and distinguishing right from wrong.
Our biases can leave us open to manipulation, causing us to overlook reality.
Instead of taking
sides, it is more beneficial to take time to think, analyze, and evaluate the
situation. The primary goal of education is to help us think critically and act
wisely, not to follow a particular viewpoint blindly.
