Don't waste your Mindshare.
You can debate with
debaters, but not with people who want to prove you wrong, personally attack
you, and belittle you. These are senseless individuals who deserve neither your
mindshare nor your heartshare. Ignoring them is a more powerful point than any
logic you could explain.
We see such people in
the workplace, on news TV debates, and elsewhere. Ignoring them is a silent
rebuke. The more you ignore them, the fewer points they have to use against
you.
A proper debate is both an intellectual and
emotional communication, appealing to the mind and the heart. Please don't
waste it on the mindless and heartless.
