Seed your ideas and water them with patience.

Seed your ideas and water them with patience.

A seed may be small in size, but when nurtured, it has the potential to break through the ground and sprout. After weeks of care, it becomes a plant; after months, it grows into a tree. Within a year or so, it can bear fruit. We must remember that a tall tree, standing majestically, was once just a seed that was nurtured with patience, enabling it to provide fruit for years to come.

Similarly, an idea can start small, but with proper nurturing, it can evolve into a groundbreaking business. By establishing a clear vision and mission, developing effective strategies and tactics, setting goals, and taking planned actions while reviewing progress and making necessary adjustments, an idea can transform into a billion-dollar company.

Generating an idea is not as challenging as having the patience to nurture it. Instead of worrying about failures, criticism, or the pursuit of success, focus on developing the idea with unwavering dedication and a substantial degree of patience to enjoy its future benefits. While not all startups succeed, those that practice patience, uphold strong ethics, and demonstrate a willingness to serve society can flourish like a tall tree.

Let patience be the water for ideas.

Listen, Understand and Respond Most of the time, people listen to respond rather than to understand. While listening, we may be trying to engage our logical brain to recall our memories and creativity for a response, or we may be accessing our emotional brain to defend ourselves against what is being said. For example, if one person talks about ways another could improve, the listener might offer excuses such as a lack of time, resources, or support. Alternatively, they may bring up personal emotions, like health or family issues. These reactions often occur while the other person is still speaking, leading to a decreased understanding and an increased eagerness to defend one’s position. During this type of conversation, the listener may appear restless, exhibiting a lack of eye contact or head nodding. In such interactions, th...
