Money Talks—Just Don’t Let It Sink the Ship
Some people make money out of hard work.
Some people make money out of smart work.
Some people make money out of networking.
Some people make money out of money that works for them.
Make sure you make more money so that you can also help others make money.
The world outside might preach,
“Don’t be money-minded.” In one way, they are right, but remember: whether you
are buying a coffee or a coffin, you need money. In most places, even entering
the world as a newborn requires money, and even entering the graveyard requires
money. Learn the art of making money and the science of growing it, and do it
professionally and ethically so you don’t end up in legal trouble.
As products and services rise, our needs rise too, so let’s make some money. When inflation
skyrockets, let us fill our pockets with some extra money.
Making money is not a sin, but
hoarding wealth endlessly can become harmful. Let us not forget these wise
words, often attributed to Mahatma Gandhi: “There is enough for everyone’s
need, but not for everyone’s greed.”
Water is required for a ship to
sail, but if the same water enters the ship, the ship will sink. We need money
to live and to leave this world, but let us not live only to make money,
because we will not take it with us.
Money earned and saved wisely is
money that grows. Keep growing your competencies and keep earning some money to
live peacefully and leave this world peacefully.
