Corporate
Lessons from Musical Chair
When the chairs are more, we are slow
to occupy the chair, once the chairs are removed one by one our speed increases
and we rush to occupy the chair. Similarly, in the corporate world, there are
many chairs in the bottom, but as and when we grow up the corporate ladder the
chairs reduce, the crux of growth is we need to keep moving, moving faster to
ensure we reach the top.
In today’s automated world, the new
age organizations are starting with lesser chairs, the time has come to understand
how to maintain the pace and stay ahead.
For some of us being on the top might
not be our goal, but we need to understand that the person below us is waiting
to sit on our chair.
The music
has started, keep moving
