Encounter the Lion in you

A young man was searching for a treasure in a jungle which is in the outskirts of a city, while doing so he lost his way and he didn't realise he was walking deeper in the jungle, after some time he found himself in the midst of a thick jungle.

He didn't know how to get out of the jungle, he moved few steps forward and with panic he spotted a Lion coming, the Lion looked at him and told

"My dear young man I will not harm you"

The young man was surprised and he asked "why” Lion said “I hunt for my need and for my greed, I do know that you human beings are not as wise as we are”

The young man was surprised and he just looked at his treasure map

The lion said “You people search the treasure outside, without realizing you are a treasure by yourself, most of your greed comes from your inability to define your need”

After listening to the above statement, the young man out of anger raised his voice, the Lion said

" young man you are at my mercy, before my greed becomes my need, leave this place"

The young man apologized and pleaded the way out, Lion showed him the way.

The treasure is our strength, the Jungle is the outside world in which we search, the Lion is the reality which we should encounter.

Define your need, focus on your strength and face the reality to understand your originality

Listen, Understand and Respond

Listen, Understand and Respond Most of the time, people listen to respond rather than to understand. By the time the other person finishes speaking, the listener is often already formulating a response. Let’s explore what happens in such situations. While listening, we may be trying to engage our logical brain to recall our memories and creativity for a response, or we may be accessing our emotional brain to defend ourselves against what is being said. For example, if one person talks about ways another could improve, the listener might offer excuses such as a lack of time, resources, or support. Alternatively, they may bring up personal emotions, like health or family issues. These reactions often occur while the other person is still speaking, leading to a decreased understanding and an increased eagerness to defend one’s position. During this type of conversation, the listener may appear restless, exhibiting a lack of eye contact or head nodding. In such interactions, th...
