How was your day?

When someone asks us how was your day?

We have a choice of various responses, but sometimes we do respond as below

1. Nothing great

2. As usual

3. Very hectic

4. Long day

5. Tiring day

Do our responses reflect our experience or our character? It doesn't matter what it was to the other person, but what we respond matters to our well-being.

Let's take each response and convert it into a better response for our well-being.

1. Nothing Great- can be converted into, today my day was invested in completing my regular activities, which strengthened my competency

2. As usual - A useful day which helped me to meet my objectives

3. Very Hectic- Today was a meaningful day

4. Long day- Today was day of activities

5. Tiring day- An energetic day

By changing the responses, we are connecting with the events to give a positive meaning to our day and we are also changing our present mood to influence our future well-being.

Before closing our day, we should identify the positives and respond based on positives

Remember, the choice of words we use builds our character.
