Leadership Simplified-Part-15-If you are persistent, you will get it. if you are consistent you will keep it.

If you are persistent, you will get it. if you are consistent you will keep it.

Let us see how Leaders follow the above words in winning the commitment of their subordinates & how they use their consistency in keeping their Team motivated.
Developing people is a continuous process, which not only requires commitment from both the sides it also demands consistency in doing it.
A True Leader is consistent in his/her actions. Management will Trust those Leaders who are consistent in producing results and subordinates will Trust those Leaders who are consistent in dealing with the subordinates needs. For example, if the Leader is consistent in conducting one to one, irrespective of his/her busy schedule, subordinates will trust those Leaders and come prepared for  one to one, if the Leader is inconsistent, the subordinates might not be serious about the entire exercise.
Remember, If the Leaders are consistent in their approach, subordinates will be trusting their Leaders and they will also be consistent in their developmental activities.
Evaluate your consistency in terms of dealing with people and develop a plan of action to stay committed towards it

A True Leader is Respected for his Commitment and Bench-marked for his Consistency

For example, if one person talks about ways another could improve, the listener might offer excuses such as a lack of time, resources, or support. Alternatively, they may bring up personal emotions, like health or family issues. These reactions often occur while the other person is still speaking, leading to a decreased understanding and an increased eagerness to defend one’s position. During this type of conversation, the listener may appear restless, exhibiting a lack of eye contact or head nodding. In such interactions, th...
