Leaders starts initiating trust and hence they win the trust of others. True Leaders build Trust with the below components

Clarity: Leaders communicate clearly, neither they are biased nor there is Ambiguity in what they express.Subordinates understands what is said as what it is meant, hence they Trust those Leaders who communicate with conviction, clarity and those who are unambiguous.

Ask for yourself how well are you communicating and ask your team members about the way you communicate. This will help you to improve yourself on a continuous basis

Competency: Competency is a combination of Knowledge, skills & continuous learning. Subordinates Trust increases due to the following

Reasons:

•When their doubts are cleared by the Leaders using their Knowledge

•When the Leaders demonstrate their skills, in the right time

•When the Leaders keep updating themselves and the same is shared to the team. Above all Trust increases when the Leaders experiences is shared as wisdom.

Remember, Competency is like a saw, it needs to be sharpen regularly
