Leadership Simplified-Part-16-Life is not Accumulation; it is about contribution-Dr. Stephen.R.Covey

Life is not Accumulation; it is about contribution-Dr. Stephen.R.Covey
Let us see how Leaders use the tool called Contribution in winning the trust of their Subordinates.
True Leaders believe in contributing their best to the organization as well as the people around them, by doing so, they believe in leaving a legacy of contributors around them. There are organisations who have been doing business for more than a century and these organisations have Leaders, who lead by contributing the best they can.
Leadership is not about being told; it is about taking initiatives. by Living with such Core Values, Leaders contribute without expecting anything in return and they do believe that their role is incomplete without contribution.

What do Leaders contribute in their Roles?
Leaders contribute by Innovating, they give their Time, Knowledge, Expertise, Hope and many more depending on the needs of the organisation and the people under them, such contribution increases the trust between the Leaders and the people around them.
Today the world of Hollywood Cinema is incomplete without the contribution of Walt Disney, Stan Lee, Stephen Spielberg, George Lucas, James Cameroon, Peter Jackson and many other legends who have laid the road for next generation to create and Innovate.

Ask yourself what would like to contribute to the organisation which has identified the Leader in you and what would like to contribute to the people who are looking upon you for their growth.
Remember, World Remembers Givers and not Takers

The Modes of Persuasion The modes of persuasion, often referred to as ethical strategies or rhetorical appeals, are devices in rhetoric that classify the speaker's appeal to the audience. They are: ethos, pathos, logos, and the less-used Kairos & telos The above model has been used by Advertisement agencies to grab the attention of the viewers and finally bring them to the purchase desk or use the cart in shopping sites. If we carefully examine the model, it has a sound application in running an effective training program too.
