Less than a minute Lesson-2921 Rudeness Vs Politeness

Less than a minute Lesson-2921 Rudeness Vs Politeness When we approach people with respect, we not only value them but also gain importance in their lives. What rudeness cannot achieve, politeness can. M.L. Narendra Kumar Instivate Learning Solutions PVT LTD Director

Lifestyle -Should it be stylish or Healthy?

Lifestyle -Should it be stylish or Healthy? When we hear the word "style," it's often associated with how a person dresses or carries themselves. For example, in the past, people admired Clint Eastwood for his stylish way of wearing a hat and handling a revolver. In South India, people admired Superstar Rajinikanth for his unique style of walking and smoking a cigarette. Many actors and actresses have been admired for their style across different generations. Today, however, the word "style" has been combined with the prefix "life" and the suffix "disease" to form a new, critical term. The word that once sounded glamorous is now used to describe ailments resulting from the lifestyles we lead. Lifestyle diseases, also known as non-communicable diseases (NCDs), are health conditions primarily caused and worsened by unhealthy daily habits and choices. Unlike infectious diseases (such as COVID-19 or malaria), they are not transmitted from p...

Cultivate Self-Worth, Not Just Net Worth

Cultivate Self-Worth, Not Just Net Worth Some assets depreciate, while others appreciate. The same is true of the people in your life. If you have relationships that are based solely on your net worth, you will be vulnerable. The moment your assets lose value, your savings erode, or your income weakens, those people will slowly devalue you in their minds and distance themselves. In fact, those who flocked to you in times of wealth are often the first to tarnish your image when circumstances change. If this resonates with you, consider these vital points. While you are busy building your net worth, you must also learn who to associate with. The day you realise that someone is not a true friend, you should distance yourself from them. These individuals likely did not support you in creating your wealth, and they will not help you recover what you have lost. Remember: while you focus on improving your financial literacy, place an equal emphasis on building your self-worth an...

Desire

Desire We don't get what we desire; we get what we work for. Desire is the feeling itself—a strong feeling of wanting something, often accompanied by the anticipation of its fulfilment. Desire is like writing down a monthly grocery list. Until we go to the store, the items remain on the list as mere words. Sometimes, we might not find precisely what we wrote down, but we still need to search for it to make the purchase. Consider this a call to action. For the next ten days, list what you desire. Next to each desire, write why you desire it, how you will fulfil it, and what the benefits of fulfilling it are. Once you can visualise yourself achieving it, continue listing your desires and work towards them. Many people are buried. It is not only their bodies that are buried, but also their desires. Let your desires be oriented toward your own development and the development of others. M.L. Narendra Kumar

Difficult Conversations to Meaningful Conversations

Difficult Conversations to Meaningful Conversations If a conversation is centered on finding faults, the outcome will be mutual resentment. Conversely, if it is centered on helping each other grow, the outcome will be ideas for development. Difficult conversations are inevitable, but we can convert them into meaningful outcomes if we respect each other and accept that we all make mistakes and have shortcomings. This acceptance allows us to approach the conversation with a mentality of listening and understanding, rather than hostility. If you are going to have a difficult conversation with someone today, first think about what is right with the other person and what your own shortcomings are. Next, define the result you would like to achieve and center the conversation around that goal. Remember, it takes only one matchstick to burn a bridge, but days to construct one. Similarly, it takes years to build a relationship, but only a few seconds and a few negative words to brea...

Progress

Progress Progress in life is not a one-time affair or an end. We keep progressing through each stage of life with different purposes and goals. For example, during our childhood, it was related to academic progress; during our jobs, it was related to career progress, etc. Sometimes things might become tougher, but we should become stronger and never stop our journey toward progress. Sometimes we feel we are going too fast, which sounds stressful; we should slow down, but never stop our journey. Sometimes we might feel we are slower; we should never stop our journey—we should speed up. Sometimes the journey might feel lonely; don't give up. Find a like-minded person to accompany you to accomplish what you desire. Keep progressing. Every day is a learning day. Life never stops teaching, so let us not stop learning and applying what we have learned. Where learning, application, and momentum are aligned, progress happens. M.L.Narendra Kumar       ...

Less than a minute Lesson-2920 Artificial Intelligence

Less than a minute Lesson-2920 Artificial Intelligence Today's intelligence involves harnessing the power of artificial intelligence while also recognizing whether a product or service is the result of natural or artificial intelligence. The future will be more challenging in determining when to use our intelligence and when to rely on artificial intelligence. Therefore, it is crucial to start learning about AI, not only for career advancement but also as individuals to ensure our privacy is protected. M.L. Less than a minute Lesson-2919 Perspectives

Less than a minute Lesson-2919 Perspectives When one person sees a piece of art, there may be only a limited perspective. However, when many people view the same art, a variety of perspectives emerge. Speaking with the artist can provide insight into their perspective on the work.   The beauty of life lies in understanding different viewpoints rather than solely living from our own perspective. Less than a minute Lesson-2918 Quiet Evening

Less than a minute Lesson-2918 Quiet Evening If a hard day doesn't rest on a quiet evening, the nights will be conquered by mental pain and physical fatigue. Remember to set aside a few minutes for yourself in the evening to relax and rejuvenate before you hit the bed. M.L. Narendra Kumar Instivate Learning Solutions PVT LTD Director

Less than a minute Lesson-2917 Losing and Finding Peace

Less than a minute Lesson-2917 Losing and Finding Peace You can ask for help when you lose your belongings, but not when you lose your peace.  Remember, the only person who can help you find your peace is you, and you alone are solely responsible for both losing it and finding it. M.L. Narendra Kumar Instivate Learning Solutions PVT LTD Director

Less than a minute Lesson-2916 Happiness

Less than a minute Lesson-2916 Happiness The more we try to understand how to be happy, the more precious time we spend understanding it rather than experiencing it. Happiness is not something to be sought; it is a feeling to be experienced. M.L. Narendra Kumar Instivate Learning Solutions PVT LTD Director

The Juice Maker and the Mocktail Maker

The Juice Maker and the Mocktail Maker In the hands of a juice maker, a fruit can be transformed into juice; in the hands of a mocktail maker, a fruit can be combined with other fruits to create a visually appealing and delicious mocktail. Ultimately, it doesn't matter whose hands the fruit passes through; what truly matters is how well the fruit is utilised. In life, we have the opportunity to work with individuals who help us leverage our core strengths, much like a juice maker. Alternatively, we might collaborate with someone akin to a mocktail maker, who encourages teamwork. If our strengths are utilised and results are achieved, we can take pride in the process. Sometimes, it is beneficial to work with both types of individuals to explore our personal strengths while also developing our teamwork skills. It's like enjoying a glass of plain lemon juice one day and savouring a lemon-pineapple mix on another. M.L. Narendra Kumar

The Painter and the Spectator

The Painter and the Spectator What the world paints about you is their perception; if they paint you to be wise, be nice to them; if they paint you to be harsh, be kind to them. There is no point in reacting to how others paint a picture of you; it is their brush and their opinion, not yours. When you learn the art of ignoring, you will also learn the art of growing. If you keep correcting others and proving yourself right, your precious life is spent on activities that add value to your life. You are the painter of your life, and you are a mute spectator of what others paint about you. M.L. Narendra Kumar

The Oars in our hands

The Oars in our hands The flow of the river is beyond our control, but the oars are in our hands. Blaming the river for its flow is pointless; instead, we should focus on how to navigate our boat. Sometimes, the river can be harsh, and it's wise to seek the riverbank rather than force our way to a destination, despite knowing the potential consequences. Similarly, in life, there is no benefit in blaming external circumstances. We are the ones leading our lives, and we should strive to improve our skills and build our confidence. If the external circumstances seem undesirable, it is better to pause any decisions or actions until we see an improvement in the environment. M.L. Narendra Kumar

Less than a minute Lesson-2915 Taste Differs

Less than a minute Lesson-2915 Taste Differs Raw mangoes are tasty, and so is a ripe mango. However, what is tasty to one person may not be tasty to others. It is better to refrain from commenting on others' tastes. M.L. Narendra Kumar Instivate Learning Solutions PVT LTD Director

Less than a minute Lesson-2914 Ignorance and Fear of Change

Less than a minute Lesson-2914 Ignorance and Fear of Change Unless we understand the consequences of what is limiting us, we will never break free from it. It's not just ignorance that restrains us; it's also the fear of change. Sometimes, we need to be tough on ourselves to facilitate personal growth. M.L. Narendra Kumar Instivate Learning Solutions PVT LTD Director

Less than a minute Lesson-2913 Ignorance

Less than a minute Lesson-2913 Ignorance The deeper we delve into a subject, the more we not only gain knowledge about it but also become aware of our ignorance. When our ignorance is present, we seek to know more. M.L. Narendra Kumar Instivate Learning Solutions PVT LTD Director

Free Yourself

Free Yourself A young performing artist felt deeply troubled and decided to meet a monk to share his worries. Upon meeting the monk, the artist said, "I have been putting great effort into performing well in my chosen field, but I don't get the appreciation I need. I only face criticism." The monk asked, "Why do you want to be appreciated?" The artist replied, "When I work so hard, don't you think I deserve to be appreciated?" The monk countered, "Do you perform for appreciation or for self-satisfaction?" The artist was left blank and said, "Both." The monk asked, "What happens if you are not appreciated?" The artist said, "I become demotivated and lose interest in giving my best." The monk asked, "Who is the loser when you don't give your best?" The artist said, "It is me." The monk continued, "Now, think of a situation where you don't worry about recogn...

Less than a minute Lesson-2912 Punish and Treat

Less than a minute Lesson-2912 Punish and Treat When you are careless, hold yourself accountable by avoiding your favourite foods, songs, and other treats. Once you see the positive results of your discipline, reward yourself with those same pleasures. Remember, unless you impose strict standards on yourself, no one else can inspire you to stay focused in your life. M.L. Narendra Kumar Instivate Learning Solutions PVT LTD Director

Less than a minute Lesson-2911 Detach from the Past

Less than a minute Lesson-2911 Detach from the Past If the past controls your present, your future will seem bleak.   Every day is a new opportunity, and each step you take should lead you toward the future. M.L. Narendra Kumar Instivate Learning Solutions PVT LTD Director

Less than a minute Lesson-2910- Detach from People

Less than a minute Lesson-2910 Detach from People If people start to control you, you may become a slave to their emotions.   Remember, attachment can be healthy, but sometimes it's wise to detach from those who use you for their own gain. M.L. Narendra Kumar Instivate Learning Solutions PVT LTD Director

Less than a minute Lesson-2909 Self-worth

Less than a minute Lesson-2909 Self-worth Your worth is not determined by how others treat you; it is based on how you treat yourself. When you feel worthy, you will carry yourself with confidence, balanced by humility. As a result, others will begin to perceive you as a worthy person. Before trying to impress others to be seen as worthy, focus on increasing your self-worth from within. M.L. Narendra Kumar Instivate Learning Solutions PVT LTD Director

Life is a book

Life is a book When one chapter in a book is exciting, it doesn’t mean you should stay stuck on that chapter. Similarly, if a chapter is boring, it doesn’t mean you should stop reading the book altogether. There are other chapters to explore, and it’s important to keep turning the pages. Life is much like a book. If one phase of life captivates you, don’t dwell on it forever; keep moving forward to the next phase. Conversely, if a phase feels dull, it doesn’t mean you should give up on life—keep moving ahead. Remember, you are the author of your life, and it’s up to you to decide what to write in your book. Each part of life offers valuable lessons that enrich us and help us lead better lives. M.L. Narendra Kumar
