The Painter and the Spectator
What the world paints
about you is their perception; if they paint you to be wise, be nice to them;
if they paint you to be harsh, be kind to them. There is no point in reacting
to how others paint a picture of you; it is their brush and their opinion, not
yours. When you learn the art of ignoring, you will also learn the art of
growing.
If you keep
correcting others and proving yourself right, your precious life is spent on
activities that add value to your life. You are the painter of your life, and
you are a mute spectator of what others paint about you.
