Perennial Suffering vs Eternal Well-Being
People often complicate their lives and
blame circumstances for their suffering. This mindset leads them to dwell on
their problems instead of accepting and moving forward. When we closely examine
our lives, we often find that much of our suffering, especially related to
health, arises from indiscipline, laziness, and carelessness. When we fall ill,
we frequently ask, "Why me?" However, once we recognise that we are
often the source of our own suffering, we can focus on improving our health and
avoiding lifestyles that harm us.
In terms of relationship issues, there
are times when we may regret what we've said, and this regret can cause us
suffering. Once we understand that life isn't like a computer, where we can
undo mistakes, we need to forgive ourselves and move on, rather than being
trapped in a cycle of suffering.
There are certain situations where we
may be genuine, but the other person reacts in an unreasonable and harsh manner.
In such cases, we have a choice: we can either confront the person and
retaliate, or we can remind ourselves that it's not worth engaging with someone
unworthy and continue with our lives.
Remember that with discipline, we can
manage our health to a certain extent, and by letting go, we can maintain our
mental well-being. Decide whether you want to suffer in silence or take action
to improve your health and maintain a positive mindset, enjoying the benefits
of a healthy mind.
