End the storm in the Mind.
After strong winds and heavy rain, there often comes a moment of pin-drop silence. During these quiet times, we can thank nature for sparing us, rather than dwelling on the nightmares of those stormy nights. Remember, the storm is over, but we shouldn't let it haunt our minds forever. We need the energy to clear away the debris—leaves and rubble—and we shouldn't waste that energy by fixating on our pain.
Nature sends us an indirect message:
after a heavy storm, peace eventually prevails, allowing the world to reset and
the sun to rise the next day. We all face challenging days in our lives, but we
should pause and look forward to the new day, think afresh, and keep moving
forward.
The storm outside is beyond our
control, but the storm within us is something we can manage. Let's put that
internal storm to rest and reignite our determination to start each day anew.
