Desire
We don't get what we
desire; we get what we work for. Desire is the feeling itself—a strong feeling
of wanting something, often accompanied by the anticipation of its fulfilment.
Desire is like
writing down a monthly grocery list. Until we go to the store, the items remain
on the list as mere words. Sometimes, we might not find precisely what we wrote
down, but we still need to search for it to make the purchase.
Consider this a call
to action. For the next ten days, list what you desire. Next to each desire,
write why you desire it, how you will fulfil it, and what the benefits of
fulfilling it are. Once you can visualise yourself achieving it, continue
listing your desires and work towards them. Many people are buried. It is not
only their bodies that are buried, but also their desires.
Let your desires be oriented toward your own
development and the development of others.
