Defeating the Defeat
Sometimes we feel we are defeated in the battle of life, either
by our results or by others' actions. But the real defeat is not our results or
others' actions—the real defeat is our own thought. Once we perceive life as a
battle, we limit our outcomes to victory and defeat.
Once we realise that life need not be compared to a battle and can
be compared to any other act with no winning or losing, the very thought of
victory and defeat fades. But what if life isn't a war at all? What if
it's more like a dance, a garden, or an ever-changing river—where there's no
scoreboard, only movement, growth, and experience? Life
sometimes becomes chaotic, not because of what is happening outside, but
because of what is happening inside.
We are all aware that the gap between birth and death is life.
At some point, we alone can define what life is, how we should live, how we
live inside, how we live outside, and how we live with others. Once we define
it, own it, and keep refining it, we become our own master. Neither others'
results nor actions will make sense to us.
Unleash the freedom in you to experience the lovely human in
you.
