To bother whether

He is right or wrong.

 

The value of a wife

Is known by a husband

When there is no one

To bother whether

He is awake or not.

 

The value of a husband

Is known by a wife

When there is no one

To bother whether

She has reached home or not.

 

The value of grandparents

Is known by grandchildren

When there is no one

To bother whether

They were cared for when their parents were not there.

 

The value of a lover

Is known by a lover

When there is no one

To bother whether

She was remembered on her birthday by 12 am or not.

 

The value of a friend

Is known by a friend

When there is no one

To bother whether

That friend is free from worries or not.

 

The value of children

Is known by parents

When there is no one

To bother whether

The parents are healthy or not.

 

The value of anyone

Is known only when

They are not around us.

 

The value of the word "value"

Has only a dictionary meaning

When we don't value each other in life.

 

 

Every life is valuable.

Every relationship is valuable.

By the time the other person finishes speaking, the listener is often already formulating a response. Let’s explore what happens in such situations. While listening, we may be trying to engage our logical brain to recall our memories and creativity for a response, or we may be accessing our emotional brain to defend ourselves against what is being said.
