Relook
to redefine
We come into this world as children,
and after our birth, we are labelled with nationality, religion, caste, creed,
and other identifiers. However, we leave as a mere body when we depart from
this life. Between birth and death, we find ourselves caught in the turmoil of
defending these labels. We adhere to societal norms, navigate positions in the
workplace and society, and engage in a race, both in the real and virtual
worlds, all while trying to satisfy others and prove ourselves. We become
burdened with loans and responsibilities, and by the time we take a moment to
reflect on ourselves and our purpose, the game comes to an end.
Now, take a moment to ask yourself: do
these words resonate with your feelings? Is living such a life worth it, or can
we redefine our needs to foster peace and harmony with others? In a world where
wars are often manufactured for the sake of selling weapons, it is essential
for individuals, not politicians, to spread joy, brotherhood, and peace.
Politicians are usually preoccupied with their agendas—meditating on arms deals
and filling their offshore accounts—so it falls to us to create a more
conducive world for everyone.
