Power
to Empower
The word "power" may sound intense,
but it can be meaningless if not held by the right person. An autocratic
individual with power is often the most powerless because their approach tends
to suppress others, using their authority to maintain control for an extended
period. True power is the ability to empower others; if it doesn’t, it loses
its value.
Reflect on how you use your power as a
manager or business owner. Does your power empower others, or does it diminish
them? Genuine introspection in this area leads to real growth and development.
