Keep Going

Keep Going

The world outside will not appreciate what you are doing but don't lose your heart—keep going. Your inner world knows where you are heading, so Keep going.

The world outside will ridicule your ideas but don't abort them. Keep going; your inner world knows how your ideas will shape the world, so Keep going.

The world outside will reject your efforts, so don't get dejected; keep going; your inner world knows the pain of your efforts, so keep going.

The world outside will compare you with others and belittle you. Keep going; your inner world knows you are incomparable, so keep going.

The world outside will be bent to silence your voice, but keep going. Your inner world knows the value of your words, so keep going.

The world outside will criticize you, but keep going. Your inner world knows how critical it is not to take criticism to heart, so keep going.

The more you keep going, the further away from the people you are and closer to your goal. Keep going, keep going. That's the only way to get what you want.

One day, the world that kept you away will be behind to ensure you are closer to them. Let them keep coming. Let them keep coming.

While listening, we may be trying to engage our logical brain to recall our memories and creativity for a response, or we may be accessing our emotional brain to defend ourselves against what is being said. For example, if one person talks about ways another could improve, the listener might offer excuses such as a lack of time, resources, or support. Alternatively, they may bring up personal emotions, like health or family issues. These reactions often occur while the other person is still speaking, leading to a decreased understanding and an increased eagerness to defend one’s position. During this type of conversation, the listener may appear restless, exhibiting a lack of eye contact or head nodding. In such interactions, th...
