Difference between a Successful and an Unsuccessful Person

A young man asked a monk, "What is the difference between a successful person and an unsuccessful person?" The monk smiled and replied, "Success is subjective, and I prefer not to delve into that discussion." However, to answer your question, the differences are as follows:

Ø A successful person finishes what they set out to achieve, while an unsuccessful person gives up.

Ø A successful person falls and rises again, whereas an unsuccessful person, once they fall, fails to rise.

Ø A successful person is never dejected when faced with rejection, while an unsuccessful person becomes disheartened.

Ø A successful person views hurdles as opportunities to think outside the box, whereas an unsuccessful person sees hurdles as the end of the journey.

Ø A successful person focuses solely on their destination, whereas an unsuccessful person is often distracted by the many paths that lie along the way.

Ø A successful person is motivated from within, while an unsuccessful person seeks motivation from external sources.

Ø A successful person sees mistakes as opportunities to learn, while an unsuccessful person gets bogged down by their mistakes.

Ø A successful person appreciates the success of others, whereas an unsuccessful person feels jealous of others' achievements.

Ø A successful person never considers success as a final destination; instead, they see it as a journey. In contrast, an unsuccessful person views failure as definitive.

The difference between success and failure lies in our thoughts and the way we react. Neither success nor failure should lead us to complacency, nor should either drain our motivation. We must continue moving toward our goals; it doesn't matter whether our progress is slow or fast as long as we remain steady in our pursuit of achievement.

The young man, with a smile, thanked the Monk and said,

To be successful, I need to change my thinking.

The Modes of Persuasion The modes of persuasion, often referred to as ethical strategies or rhetorical appeals, are devices in rhetoric that classify the speaker's appeal to the audience. They are: ethos, pathos, logos, and the less-used Kairos & telos The above model has been used by Advertisement agencies to grab the attention of the viewers and finally bring them to the purchase desk or use the cart in shopping sites.
