The Greatest Frontier: The Explorer Within
Beneath
the ground and above the sky lies an interest in explorers. The more they
explore, the more they are surprised. Some are rewarded with rare materials
from the earth, while space explorers are rewarded with knowledge that may one
day help us travel to a galaxy far away. While reading this, some of you may
have visualized a group of people either digging the earth, deep-diving in the
ocean, or floating in space. But hold on for a while before visualizing more
about these explorers.
The prime objective of this
analogy is to help us understand that beneath each one of us lies unexplored
potential and thoughts that run through our heads. While we are interested in
understanding the explorers, let us not forget to activate the explorer within
us. This explorer, like the people who explore the earth, ocean, or space,
requires different skill sets, courage, and grit. Similarly, we too require the
competency of understanding ourselves, using that understanding to improve, and
having the grit to go the extra mile to use our potential and channelize our
thinking.
As we accept the fact that we
are explorers of self, let us also understand that the people we deal with are
like the earth, the ocean, and the space. They too have something beneath them
and thoughts that surround them. Let us accept this and be non-judgmental about
people so that we can unearth what is right with them.
The world is yet to be
explored—and so is the human being who is a part of this world.
