Count your blessings
Some people count the cash in their
hands, while others count the days left until vacation. Some tally the steps
needed to climb a mountain, and others keep track of the number of customers
who walk through the door. Some count the pills required to complete their
medication, while others mark their answers on an exam sheet. Some monitor the
figures in their financial books, and some count the days passing by.
However, many people overlook the
blessings they have in their lives. While we often keep track of various
aspects of life, we should also take a moment to appreciate what we are
grateful for. Those who express gratitude for what they possess will develop
the right attitude toward what they lack and will approach their aspirations
with a positive mindset.
