Generating Peace
There is no point in losing your peace
in one place and searching for it in another. If you have lost your peace at
home, work on improving your home environment and relationships with family
members. If the issue is at your workplace, address it there. Nature—whether
it’s the shade of a tree, a forest, a riverbank, a seashore, or mountains—does
not create peace. Peace is disrupted from within, and it needs to be built from
within.
Running away to a serene location,
quitting your family, or leaving your job is often perceived as an act of
cowardice. While it may physically remove you from the situation, mentally, you
will still be haunted. When peace diminishes, think carefully before you quit.
Those who choose to face life’s challenges are the people who can cultivate
peace within themselves. They understand that peace is essential for overcoming
life's challenges.
