Killing Time
There are times when we encounter
people discussing delayed flights, and they often say, "I need to kill
some time at the airport." They are not just passing the time; they are
sacrificing their productivity. However, productivity is subjective—what is
productive for one person may not be for another. For example, when we see
someone walking around the airport for window shopping, it might seem
unproductive at first glance. Yet for that individual, it could be an
opportunity to understand the market.
We all know there are certain external
factors beyond our control, but how we choose to use the time we have is
entirely up to us. Proactive people will seek alternative ways to utilise their
time in such situations, while reactive individuals focus on simply killing
time.
Ask yourself: Are you a reactive person
who thinks about killing time, or are you a proactive person with a plan to use
your time effectively?
