Kairos signifies a proper or opportune time for action. Kairos can be used in persuasion to take advantage of the situation. Ex- GST Courses was launched, when companies were migrating to GST



Similarly, A soft skills or behavioural programs can be conducted based on the situation.

Ex- How to give feedback, is a program that can be conducted before performance appraisal.

A training program on Quality before the Quality certification will add more value to the company, rather than running a regular program.

To sum up the mode of persuasion

·         We can use Ethos to build credibility

·         We can use Logos to appeal to the logical sense

·         We can use Pathos to appeal to the emotion side

·         We can use Telos to connect with the purpose

·         We can use Kairos to conduct the program in appropriate time

  Listen, Understand and Respond Most of the time, people listen to respond rather than to understand. By the time the other person finishes speaking, the listener is often already formulating a response. Let’s explore what happens in such situations. While listening, we may be trying to engage our logical brain to recall our memories and creativity for a response, or we may be accessing our emotional brain to defend ourselves against what is being said. For example, if one person talks about ways another could improve, the listener might offer excuses such as a lack of time, resources, or support.
