If more time is spent on
gossip than on meaningful discussion, we may pass the time for a moment, but we
will surely become the topic of it later.
Gossip offers momentary pleasure,
but learning that you were its subject breeds lasting resentment. It is far
better to avoid gossip and engage in meaningful discussions that benefit
everyone.
