Appreciation and Criticism
Not
all appreciation is sincere, and not all criticism is the result of jealousy.
Before we accept either, let us first understand why we are being appreciated
or criticised.
If
we find merit in the appreciation, let us thank the person and avoid letting it
go to our heads. If we find merit in the criticism, let us thank the person and
avoid letting it pierce our hearts.
