War of Words
War doesn't begin
with weapons; it starts with words. If nations fail to use the right words, it
will lead to missiles, bombs, and bullets. The irony is that the very reason
for war is often rooted in words; thus, words can also help stop it.
Unfortunately, innocent people die, cities are destroyed, and individuals lose
their livelihoods, which takes a long time to rebuild.
While we may not have
a say in the words that trigger wars, we can choose words carefully in our
everyday lives. Doing so during challenging situations can help prevent
conflicts and foster understanding.
