Go with the flow
Flowing water is much
safer to consume than stagnant water. The flow speed washes away unwanted
particles and keeps the water clean, whereas stagnant water attracts debris and
becomes a breeding ground for insects and dirt.
Now, let's compare
life to water: when we keep moving forward, we wash away our worries and fears,
allowing us to progress. However, when we become stuck in the same old thoughts
of guilt, regret, and anxiety, we no longer serve as good companions for
ourselves or others. When elders advise us to "go with the flow,"
they mean we should keep moving forward, as there is always more to experience
as we flow.
