Mental Keys

We don't hand over our bodies to just anyone, except for our loved ones and physicians during an examination. However, at times, we do relinquish control of our minds to others who manipulate us for their advantage. By "handing over our mind," we allow ourselves to be swayed by others' criticism, anger, praise, and manipulation.

Once we give control of our minds to others, we hand them the keys to unlock it whenever they wish, letting them store whatever thoughts they desire. It's interesting to note that we never give our locker keys to just anyone; we keep them safe and use them solely ourselves. Yet, paradoxically, we often provide mental keys to others—those who praise us for their gain, leading us to live in vanity, or those who criticize us, bringing us down.

We also give our mental keys to people who manipulate our thoughts with their ideologies, fostering negative feelings towards those who don’t conform to their beliefs. Remember, the mind is a place where we can either be built up or torn down. Let us maintain control over it and not become puppets in the hands of others.
