There is more to a person.
We perceive only one
angle; what we don’t see encompasses many more. We cannot define an object
based solely on our single perspective. Consider human beings: Our interactions
with them are influenced by various reasons, leading us to make judgments about
their character. It takes time to understand an object fully, but understanding
a person may take a lifetime.
Instead of trying to
understand and define someone, let’s accept them for who they are and relate to
them based on mutual needs. The irony is that we often reach conclusions about
a person too quickly. Sometimes we may label them as genuine, only to later
feel disappointed and regretful. At other times, we might perceive them as
negative, only to later discover their goodness, which can lead to guilt over
our initial judgment.
Rather than falling
into this pattern, let’s focus on relating to, accepting, and setting
boundaries with others as we move forward.
Character does not
remain static; it can change over time. It’s better to adapt and grow with
these changes rather than cling to judgments about the people in our lives.
