Journey

Here is a journey,

a journey we can take

any time in our lives.

Here is a journey,

a journey that doesn't require any advanced booking.

we can start whenever we want.

Here is a journey,

a journey that doesn't require

our passport to be stamped;

we can begin with empty hands.

Here is a journey,

a journey that doesn't require

any bags to pack;

we can just walk as we are.

Here is a journey,

a journey that doesn't require

an itinerary to follow;

we can define our path.

Here is a journey,

a journey that doesn't require

a guide to explain.

we can guide ourselves to our desired destination.

Here is a journey,

a journey that doesn't require

a sea-facing room to stay;

we need to close our eyes.

A journey into self

is the most intriguing journey

to discover who we are and what we can be.

An economical mental journey

that can take us to many nations

through our imagination.

A journey that helps us connect

with ourselves and correct our paths.

This journey can happen once in a while

or be a regular affair.

So close your eyes, sit, relax,

and move towards the traveler within you

to explore the purpose of your journey called life.
