Understanding Real Weaknesses and Strengths
Recognising and
harnessing one’s strengths is essential for personal growth; failing to do so
can be seen as a significant weakness. True strength, on the other hand, comes
from the courage to admit one’s weaknesses. This means being open to seeking
guidance from others, whether it’s through mentorship, collaboration, or
constructive feedback. Additionally, it requires a strong sense of
self-determination, the inner drive to confront and address those weaknesses
head-on. By actively engaging with both our strengths and weaknesses, we pave
the way for continuous improvement and deeper connections with those around us.
Pause for a while and
reflect on how much of your strengths have been underutilized or unutilized,
and also reflect upon the adverse impact it had on you and will have on you in
the future.
