Temporary Life
Although we know we
are not eternal, we often carry permanent emotions like hate, guilt, and
regret. As we age, we realise these feelings stain our relationships with
others and ourselves and adversely impact our bodies and minds. Let us take a
moment to ask ourselves: Do we still have such emotions bottled up inside us?
On June 12, 2025,
India witnessed a tragedy when over 240 passengers and the crew lost their lives in an air
crash. Some passengers would have boarded the flight filled with happiness,
some hoping to start a new life, and others eagerly anticipating a reunion with
loved ones. Yet, some might have carried negative emotions with them. By the
time they settled in, their lives had tragically come to an end, leaving behind
heartfelt sorrow for their families.
Whenever such
incidents occur, life teaches us powerful lessons. This tragedy reinforces the
phrase: In this temporary life, nothing is permanent. Therefore, it is better
to offload hate, guilt, and regret, allowing us to take off smoothly and land
peacefully in our lives.
