Managing Emotions
Each one of us is responsible for managing our emotions. The more we rely on others to handle our feelings, the less control we have over our freedom, and we risk succumbing to their desires. It is essential to be aware of our emotions, understand the reasons behind them, and consider the consequences that arise from our feelings.
Similarly, we should
refrain from trying to manage the emotions of others. When people are
vulnerable, we may unintentionally take control of them, and when others are
guarded, we may find ourselves caught in conflicts. Such situations often lead
to arguments and an exchange of hurtful words, resulting in emotional damage.
Let us acknowledge
that we are the owners of our emotions. We must take responsibility for
managing them ourselves, allowing others to take ownership of their feelings
and manage them as they see fit.
