Maturity -A Mental Attribute
Not all individuals
who age become mature, nor do all young individuals remain immature. Maturity
is not a physical attribute; it is a mental one. A person's maturity is
determined by how they perceive their surroundings, how they deal with
adversity, success, appreciation, and criticism, and how they respond to these
situations.
When people develop
the ability and willingness to understand, analyse, evaluate, and respond to
various circumstances, they tend to cultivate a sense of inner calm. They
consider the pros and cons of their responses, which helps them mature more
quickly and navigate life with greater ease. These individuals not only regulate
themselves from within but also foster a sense of harmony wherever they go.
This harmony is often regarded as a sign of maturity.
