Premature judgement
When we judge a
person in different emotional states, our perceptions can be skewed:
·
When
we see someone who is happy, we may perceive them as jovial.
·
When
we encounter someone arrogant, we might label them as such.
·
If
we notice someone who appears worried, we may think they are brooding.
·
When
someone seems demotivated, we might perceive them as negative.
·
If
a person is focused solely on their own needs, we may judge them as selfish.
·
When
we see someone avoiding spending money, we might consider them a miser.
·
Conversely,
if someone spends money freely, we could view them as lavish.
While it's easy to
make judgments based on these situations, we must remember that our conclusions
can be premature. For example, if someone is showing signs of demotivation due
to a difficult time at work, it does not necessarily mean they have a negative
attitude.
Judging someone is like seeing only the tip of the
iceberg, while understanding involves exploring what lies beneath the surface.
