Handling Success and Failure

 Handling Success and Failure

Our maturity is reflected in our ability to ensure that we don't let success inflate our egos or let failures break our spirits. Once we learn how to handle success without becoming arrogant and address failure without losing hope, we are mature enough to face life as it comes.

How to Handle Success?

Success is merely the perception others have of your life. As long as you understand that success is a journey, not a destination, you will never become overly consumed by it. This perspective allows you to stay humble, even when awards and accolades fill your life.

How to Handle Failure?

If you perceive yourself as a failure, then you are a failure. However, if you view failure as a hurdle to be overcome, you can pause to understand how to rise above it. While others may focus on your failures, you will view them as challenges and work to overcome them. Once you detach your identity from your failures, you can approach them with a clear mind focused on finding the root cause.

Let success and failure be mere words in the dictionary or concepts that others discuss. It is wiser to distance yourself from these labels and concentrate on your true purpose in life.

The Modes of Persuasion The modes of persuasion, often referred to as ethical strategies or rhetorical appeals, are devices in rhetoric that classify the speaker's appeal to the audience. They are: ethos, pathos, logos, and the less-used Kairos & telos The above model has been used by Advertisement agencies to grab the attention of the viewers and finally bring them to the purchase desk or use the cart in shopping sites. If we carefully examine the model, it has a sound application in running an effective training program too.
