Take responsibility for the choices you make
Each one of us is
responsible for making our own choices. We should not depend on others to make
our decisions, nor should others depend on us to make theirs. When we rely on
someone else to make choices for us, and those choices turn out poorly, the risk
of damaging the relationship increases significantly. We often tend to blame
others when things don’t go our way, so it’s better to be self-reliant in our
decision-making rather than relying on others.
It’s more beneficial
to make our own choices and face the consequences. If the outcome is positive,
congratulate yourself; if it turns out to be negative, take the opportunity to
learn valuable lessons from the experience.
