Leadership Lesson from Class Teacher Part-1

School is a place where both knowledge & character are built. Every year we would Have come across a Class Teacher, who would have  handled us, some of these class teachers would  have either been strict or lenient, but we all would been nurtured for a betterment and we would have definitely had an emotional Farewell day thanking the class teacher.

Let us reflect upon some of the roles played by the Class Teacher, to relate it with Leadership qualities

1-Lesson from Daily Attendance

The very first thing the class teacher did was to check our presence, in the modern workplace we have bio-metrics or a access card which takes care of it for the administration purpose, but as a Leader a physical greeting in the morning adds up the emotional needs, whereas with remote teams a video call to greet a person increases the proximity.

2-Personal Records

Class Teacher maintains a personal record of each student to fulfill the administration needs as well as to understand the students better and help the students to progress, As a Leader, you should maintain the records of your subordinates in terms of their strengths, limitations, goals and needs, these factors will help you in assigning the right work and it also helps in developing the subordinates

A dedicated Leader can develop an Engaged Subordinate
